MTC (Micro Technology Concepts, Inc.) was founded in 1989 and has spent more than three decades in the trenches of real-world IT—building, supporting, and recovering environments through every major technology cycle, from legacy client-server infrastructure to today’s virtualized and cloud-connected operations.

Our focus today is simple: helping organizations modernize and secure IT so business operations stay reliable, protected, and resilient against disruption. We do this through managed IT services, infrastructure modernization (including virtualization alternatives and migration planning), cybersecurity readiness, and recovery-focused resilience planning—so leaders can move past uncertainty and clearly understand what happens next.

MTC’s foundation was built through deep partnerships with tier-one IT brands and a long track record of delivering practical solutions. We have worked closely with industry leaders including Dell, HP, and Lenovo for computing platforms; Microsoft for software ecosystems; Seagate, Western Digital, HGST, Toshiba, and Samsung for storage; and Intel and AMD for processors—alongside a broad distribution history across components, peripherals, barebones systems, and security solutions. That hands-on experience across the IT stack continues to shape how we design supportable, resilient environments for our clients.

MTC has also contributed to key moments in infrastructure innovation. After AMD launched the Opteron Server Platform in 2003, we identified thermal performance as a critical success factor for high-density rackmount deployments. We designed a high-efficiency cooling system to optimize airflow and thermal stability, and MTC became a key partner in AMD’s global roadshow to introduce the platform. Our solutions represented a majority of AMD-validated thermal rackmount offerings showcased through AMD’s Opteron program—helping accelerate adoption in high-performance computing markets.

In 2006, MTC expanded into IT Asset Disposition (ITAD). We became the exclusive Best Buy partner for hard drive sanitization, repair, and recovery, and developed a fully automated, high-density rackmount infrastructure capable of simultaneously wiping hundreds of drives in alignment with U.S. DoD data erasure standards. As a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR), we refurbished and redeployed large volumes of off-lease commercial equipment—reducing e-waste while extending the useful life of enterprise-grade IT assets.

Today, that same engineering discipline and operational perspective guides our work: reducing downtime risk, controlling modernization complexity, strengthening cybersecurity posture, and ensuring recoverability—so organizations can keep operating when conditions change.
